Where do we begin

Hopefully I will be able to keep up with this thing, considering I should be doing other things right now like.....looking for a job! :0) It's all good though because I am assured that the Lord will provide for me. Right now I am in transition and waiting for direction from God. Some decisions can be dreadfully hard to make if you go it alone. As for me, I have chosen not to worry. (This is totally out of character for me but I choose to be like Him) I choose to be stand on His Word. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.

There is no need for me to worry. Why? Glad you asked.... Because it will not change my situation. What will happen over time if I continue to worry about things that I can change and things that I can't, is burnout, stress, high blood pressue, night sweats.... Who needs all of that?! Not me. I am too beautiful and too wonderful for such things (lol).

We thought it would be fun to act a little silly. All of our other pics are way to cute... Check out how tight my lips are (some of you who know me well will laugh at that :0)

Infant Orphanage

Infant Orphanage
I sat with this little guy nearly the entire time. I played with him and also rocked him to sleep. Please pray that these children will be adopted by loving and God-fearing parents... If I were able, I would adopt him myself but I am not at the time so I ask you all to pray that the Lord would provide him with a home...

Lacyndra ministered through dance at church and we were are in awe. Brian and Janine, our team leaders, sang in the background....

Massai women

Massai women
It took us 3 1/2 hours to get to this village. Another bumpy road but it was all worth it. I am still "syched" about our experience worshipping with these women. Whew!! Although we had to get translators to communicate, I can see that the Lord is definitely interested in all of us having abundant lives. The meeting place of the church was under this humongous tree and they used drums and high pitched voices to sing praises unto God. It was amazing... You will see that word more and more.... :0)

The women clothed us with Kongas today as a sign of thanks for ministering at the Women's conference yesterday. You know I cried. Here is a picture of the konga that I was given. I am seen with Valentina (she is actually not Tanzanian; she's from Rwanda). She is dressed in a beautiful African ensemble that she designed herself.

The women were blessed. During our break (the conference lasted from 9-6) We were blessed by this sister as she sang and knelt in worship before our King.

End of the semester dinner at Professor Strong's

End of the semester dinner at Professor Strong's
This meal reminded me of the meals that I received from the Lehman's when I lived with them in Montreal. It was actually pretty good. In the picture there is curry chicken, mixed veggies w/other stuff and something else I can't remember. It was rather deliciouis though. She actually sent me the recipe for the curry. I tried making it when I moved back from Montreal but it tasted exactly like dirt. (I know, I got a whipping for eating dirt when I was little girl). So, I am hoping that I get it right this time with Professor Strong's recipe. :0)

These are the younger of the three. Aren't they adorable. Don't let it fool you though. These two can tell you more about yourself than you probably can. :0)

Women's Retreat: "Pulling Down Strongholds" in Sweet Orlando (May 21)
We visited the "Holy Land," a replica of Jeruasalem during Jesus' time. It was an awesome experience. If you ever get the chance to go to Orlando, please visit this hot spot. You'll enjoy it... at least I did! :0)

Thanks to Mother Grace, we all left the retreat feeling revived, renewed, and refreshed. It was a great time of fellowship and growth for everyone.

This was one of the most eye-catching arrangements at the Holy Land. Wouldn't you agree!
